The persistent gender bias in the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea: a commentary

Gender differences are prevalent in the pathophysiology of most illnesses. In a personalized medicine, differences in general, and in OSA in particular, need to be better understood. We are under diagnosing women which is resulting in possible health and social consequences.
