Obesity hypoventilation syndrome

OHS is diagnosed during an episode of hypercapnic respiratory failure or when symptoms lead to pulmonary or sleep consultation. OHS is established after arterial blood gases and sleep study. Daytime hypercapnia is explained by co-existing mechanisms, respiratory drive and SDB
