Effect of ventilation therapy on mortality rate among OHS and obstructive sleep apnoea patients.

Patients with OHS have a higher mortality rate than those with OSA and this finding was maintained after adjusting for age, sex, BMI, comorbidity and ventilation therapy. Ventilation therapy significantly reduced all-cause mortality rates both in OHS and OSA patients.
