Daytime sleepiness predicts inflammation and ambulatory blood pressure in sleep apnoea
This study shows that sleepiness is associated with inflammation and higher 24-h MAP in sleep apnoea. Further work examining the role of inflammatory proteins, other than C1qTNF1, in blood pressure regulation in OSA patients and excessive daytime sleepiness is needed.
