The role of vitamin D in Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Syndrome

The association between vitamin D deficiency and OSAS is mediated by complex mechanisms and affected by multiple factors. The fact that vitamin D deficiency appears to be common among OSAS patients suggests that screening should be performed when clinically indicated.
