REM sleep behaviour disorder and cognitive impairment in Parkinson’s disease
This study shows that RSBD is a major risk factor for poorer cognitive performance and mild cognitive impairment in PD. It is associated with a more impaired cognitive profile and higher MCI diagnosis frequency, suggesting more severe and widespread neurodegeneration.
